I just want to remark that this is the first time I've ever seen 100% vote turnout for a movie before. At this point, there are 108 votes for 108 views. That means there's something about this animation that compells people to vote. . . getting an initial response like that is something in itself.

The fuzzy sock did not help, it muffled the voice files way too much. Here's something you can do instead of using a sock:

Get a large mixing bowl. Hold it up sideways, positioning the mic so that it's pointing into one side of the bowl, but not touching it. Start recording and speak into the other side of the bowl. This eliminates the sound of your breath hitting the mic and gives you crystal clear voice files.

Pretty funny movie, worth a 4. People should only blam complete crap, not movies that have obviously been toiled over. Good work! :)

Hmm.. must be one hell of a sock! I just used my fiance's ankle sock and spoke with a crosswind over the mic, not directly into it. But I love your idea too.. as long as it doesn't sound like you are in a cavern or something. Thanks for the tip!

Well. . .

I partly agree. I think that there's no reason to be unnecessarily cruel when reviewing a movie. I think the many suggestions I have seen in reviews for the Flash Author to commit suicide are way over the top and juvenile. The animation features of Flash are not that difficult to learn, but putting out good work is time consuming and tedious. However. . .

If you see a piece of dog shit on the sidewalk, do you approach the dog who made it to explain to him how to make a better turd? No. But you might turn to a friend about to step in it and say, "watch out for that poop!"

When people submit movies that look like they took less time to create than they did for the viewer to download them, it pisses other people off. It's like internet trash, it serves no purpose. It's a waste of the viewer's time and disk space, a waste of NewGrounds bandwidth, and most especially, a waste of the author's energy. So when I see repeated "what a piece of shit!" in reviews and a low rating, I kind of view it as a warning from other people to avoid this particular piece of poop. You can't improve poop.
